Continue to focus on us, we will share more free iphone repair guide.
The customer delivered a iPhone 6SP which reports error 4014 during recovery process. According to our past iPhone repair experience, we know that the 6S error 4014 was basically a NAND problem. How should we repair it step by step?
1. after getting the iPhone device, we connect it to the iTunes with lightning data cable, we find the white apple logo stuck on screen and then report error 4014 on progress bar.
2. use FLUKE multimeter to measure the power supply 1.8V and 3V of NAND, both are normal.
3. remove the iPhone 6SP NAND(W006) to measure the grounding resistance value of the solder pad.
4. it is found that the M6 pin abnormal, as shown in picture1, the normal resistance should be about 1000, but the pin value is infinite. Check the iPhone 6SP PCB pin and connect it to the external R1501 resistor.
5. After checking, we found that the resistor R1501 is missing, replace R1501, and install the NAND chip back.
6. use the iTunes to restore again, it no longer report error 4014, the iPhone 6SP can enters the system smoothly, and all the functions are tested all normal now.
