Repair guide Half Black Screen Repair-iPhone 6S Plus

IPhone 6 Plus half screen black problem most common, in DIY repair or unskilled repair attempts, please add it to the Vippro Shop Team,half of the screen is dimmed or partially backlit. as shown in picture 8-4-1.the iPhone 6S Plus screen cannot gets light on again, as shown in picture 8-4-2.

1. Disassemble the iPhone 6S Plus device, we found all the D4050、D4051、U4050 of the iPhone backlight chips were removed, D4051 pad tin point dropped, it has been welded with jumper wires, but it was not fixed in a proper way. As shown in picture 8-4-3.

2. Clean the part of pad on iPhone 6s Plus motherboard, solder the jumper wire on it, and also weld the iPhone backlight diode and backlight chip. As shown in picture 8-4-4 and 8-4-5.

3. Connect and test the iPhone screen, we found that half black screen problem still exist. As shown in picture 8-4-6

4. It looks like there's another problem, disassemble the iPhone 6s Plus motherboard.

5. Observe under the microscope, we found L4050 inductance surface cracks, as shown in picture 8-4-7, according to experience, we judge is there the internal coil problem? if energy cannot saved, it will cause the backlight boost circuit not able to be boosted.

6. That's great ，replace a iPhone 6S Plus internal coil directly, the backlight finally becomes normal. As shown in picture 8-4-8.

The two failures are concentrated on the front camera flex cable, which is likely to be caused by the damage of the wiring. First, we have to eliminate the possibility of the external parts fault, then consider the motherboard problem. Remove the screen assembly and replace it with a good one, we still can't turn on the front camera and use the distance sensor. Disassemble to measure the ground resistance of the front camera seat of J1111 by Fluke digital multimeter , it is found that several pins are infinitely large, and the related inductors are loose when touch with the pen.
