Soldering Tools You Need to Prepare in Smartphone Repair

1. Anti static Solder Iron

Anti static solder iron is the common tool for soldering or disassembling PCB components on mobile phone circuit board. Owing to the difference between those components, you need precision solder iron with different rate, so it's better for you to prepare more.

Tips: Do not leave solder iron around after finishing repair. Even if cut power off, there is still very high temperature on the tip. Please switch off power and put on holder when you done with them!

For choosing a variety of solder tips, it's more convenient for you to replace during repair process.

2. Tin Sucker

Tin sucker is used for cleaning extra solder after get the PCB components out. An universal solder sucker generally contains four parts: suction tip, suction tube, button and piston rod.

How to use it ? It is not difficult at all. Well, just press the piston rod first, and put the suction tip on preparing disassembled components while heating the solder point, press button after the solder point melt, then its piston rod will be bounced to suck tin into tube.

The two failures are concentrated on the front camera flex cable, which is likely to be caused by the damage of the wiring. First, we have to eliminate the possibility of the external parts fault, then consider the motherboard problem. Remove the screen assembly and replace it with a good one, we still can't turn on the front camera and use the distance sensor.
